exodus field

How it works

What Exodus Field can prove, and what it can't.

A record is only worth something if the method behind it is boring and legible. Here is the whole method.

At the punch

Location is required to clock in

The tech grants location once. Exodus Field takes a fix at the punch and measures the distance to the job site. There is no way to start a shift without it.

Distance, not a yes or no

The record stores the measured distance in metres and the accuracy the device reported, so a weak fix reads as weak rather than as a false pass.

Away punches are explained, not blocked

Off site by more than the geofence, the tech states why and it is stamped on the punch. A shop-morning is legitimate; hiding it is not.

During the shift

Presence pings every ten minutes

While the clock runs, Exodus Field samples location on a ten-minute cadence and keeps inside-or-outside with the distance. Presence is a pattern, not a single moment.

Photos carry their own capture time

The capture timestamp and location come from the camera event, so a photo taken Tuesday cannot be presented as Thursday's work.

Checklists are timestamped as they are ticked

Progress accumulates through the day. A sheet finished in one burst at 4:58pm looks different from one worked through, and it looks different in the record.

Verification grades

Verified

The fix was accurate and inside the geofence. Presence pings agree.

Weak

The punch was inside but the device's accuracy was poor. Shown honestly rather than promoted.

Away

Outside the geofence, with the reason the tech gave attached to the punch.

Getting it to the client

A link you can revoke

Weekly records share as read-only links. Revoke one and it dies immediately, even if it was forwarded.

Printable by design

The record prints to a clean sheet you can staple to an invoice. No login required at the other end.

Nothing about your crew leaks

Pay rates, hours for other properties, other clients' work and other techs' timesheets never appear on a shared record.

What it can't prove

Exodus Field proves a device was at a place at a time and that work was recorded there. It does not prove quality, and it does not read a phone's location when the shift is not running. We would rather say that plainly than oversell it.
